Shabbos and Holidays

Shabbos and holidays are always special, even if you have to be away from home. That is why radish, a community based company, owned by orthodox Jews, adhered to the needs of the people in the community, and is working closely with different bikur cholim organizations and the food and nutrition department to give the patients a better experience while recovering.

Shabbos

A great ‘heimish’ menu, delivered fresh every Friday by radish, is now available for your patients. This will definitely make a difference to them and their loved ones assuring, even in difficult times, they have great heimish food. Many mothers, after birth, find that their appetite and cravings for yummy foods does return quickly if they begin breastfeeding, since producing milk requires quite a bit of extra energy and calorie intake, so we guarantee a menu for all is prepared. From grape juice and Challah bread to an assortment of fish and dips, salads, nourishing chicken soup, and varying hot dishes to choose from.

Jews have many different holidays, with different customs and traditions throughout the year. radish is committed to serve the patients with all their holiday meals, and to keep the staff informed about each and every holiday.

Hanukkah!

Who doesn’t like donuts? During Hanukkah, we, at radish, add onto the menu a selection of different donuts and potato latkes for everyone to enjoy.

Oh Purim! We didn’t forget about the Hamantashen cookies with different fillings to lift the spirits and for everyone to feel a Happy Purim!
